DT The Sketchy Challenges: Sketch and theme!

Sorry but i was running a bit behind... This was ment to go live on Saturday when we launched a new challenge at The Sketchy Challenges. My teamie Kirsty-Anne made a gorgeous sketch and set the theme for Card or Pocket Letter. You do know you can go for the sketch, the theme or both right?

Anyways... I have not figured out pocket letter just yet so I went with a card using the lovely sketch.

I used Maja Design Papers from the collection Vintage Winter. The Stacked Stars are a die from Memory Box.

A close up on one of my all time fav image from hÄnglar and stÄnglar. Colored with Copic Markers.

Added pearls, metal snowflakes, flowers, ribbons... some bells...

The amazing God Jul die below is from KaBoks (the text means Merry Christimas).

More flowers...

The sentiment is from Svenska Textstämplar. Added it to a snowflake and made a tag out of it.

That's it for me today! Thank's for stopping by!

Have a magical day!

DT Paradise of Magnolias - Monochromatic!

Today we start a new challenge at Paradise of Magnolia and this time we'd like to see "Monochromatic" work.

This is what I did.... A Christmas card in earthy tones.

The papers are from Maja Design. and I added a snowflake doily and a snowflake star on the other side. Gold/brown lace and a golden bow along with flowers, pearls and some Christmas bells.

Love this image - Tilda Lucia and the Snowy Circle behind as well. The first time I've ever used either of them even though I have had them a long time.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I used a Spellbinder frame for it.

The snowflake star...

I made an altered chocolate box for one of my youngest son's who's teacher is leaving at the beginning of the semester for a new job.

For my project I have used an image by Mo Manning called Trinity and colored her with Copic Markers.

I have used papers from my all time fav collection from Maja Design - Ska vi ta en fika? and the swirls in the corners are a die cut from Sizzix. Added flowers as well... :-)

More flowers and a bow... Sentiment from Gummiapa (Gongrats on your new job).

Added some flowers in the corner along with a charm that looks like Earth and an aeroplane circling around it.

Added some metal decorations to the sides. The box then slides in to the cover.
