It's Wednesday today and you all know what that means.... it's time for our fortnightly challenge over at The Whiff of Joy . This time we are challenging you to use flowers! Could it be more easy?!?! Not for me anyways as I struggle with not using flowers most times... When in doubt - always add flowers! ;-)

This is my inspirational card featuring Fall Willow Catching leaves by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff of Joy.

Here is a close up on the image, colored with my Copic markers.... I used distress pad Wild Honey and my inking tool to color the background...

Some of the flowers, most from Wild Orchid but some from my stash....

More gorgeous flowers and a key charm from Whiff of Joy.

I acctually think I will send this card to my mother... She's no fan of fall but I just looooove it!! The rich colors and the fresh air.... It couldn't be better!! :-D

Here is a last picture.... The lovely papers are from Bo Bunny's collection Apple Cider and the border punch is from Martha Stewart.

DT Elisabeth Bell's World: Sizzling summer!

So the theme for the new challenge at  Elisabeth Bell's World. is "Sizzling summer" and that could not be more fitting for the summer we've had here in Sweden. The weather here isn't always that stabile but this summer... wow!! Warm, sunny weather pretty much every day... and I had a fab 8 week vacation!!! Talk about choosing the right summer for a long break! Anyways I had a lot of inspiration for this month's challenge- sizzling summer!

This is my card:

I've used the adorable image "Summer Daze" available in  Elisabeth's Digital Gallery.. I've used my Copic markers to color....

Oooops!! Sorry for this image being on the side but I think you get the flowers anyways... The yellowish flowers are from Prima and the other ones are Wild Orchid....

I made this card rectangular instead of an ordinary square... Fitted the image better I think... the papers are from Imaginisence (pink and the sentiments) and from Echo Park (green).

Make it festive with LOTV!

So I'm back after a little break... Well-needed as I have been with my kids at school and preschool (they are both at new places this fall...) And now I'm in bed with a terrible cold that came from nowhere so I thought I'd blog a bit then...

This is the card I'd like to show you today:

I've used this darling image from last years Christmas collection from Lili of the Valley and it's called Together at Christmas. I used my Copics to color it and added some Fran-tage on the edges. Among the leaves on the mantle piece I've added Pearl Maker gold.

The papers I've used are from Bo Bunny and the beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've added a tag that I made with a die from Magnolia and it's also goldy with Fran-tage. The swirl on the side is a die from Memory box and the corner is a die from Cheery Lynn.

Here you see more of the tag and some of the flowers...

More flowers and the die cut from Memory Box. I added an angel to the flower cluster here as well as Fran-tage and Pearl Maker.

Thank you for visiting me today! Have  a magical day!

DT Elisabeth Bells World: Christmas in July!

Happy Friday! I'm a tad bit late with this one.... But there is still a lot of time to join us at Elisabeth Bells Digital Gallery for this month's challenge which is Christmas in July! All you need to do to enter is to create a christmas project featuring any image designed by Elisabeth Bell.

This is my take:

The papers are from Maja Design and I just loooove making Christmas cards in blue!

Here is a close up on the image called Letter to Santa and she's available in Elisabeth Bells Digital Gallery. For today I colored her with distress refils.

Some of the precious flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts....

A bow and a charm... And lot's of Stickles... ;-)

A Christmas card that isn't sparkling just isn't quite a Christmas card, is it....?

I *heart* you all for visiting me!! You put a smile on my face everyday and I'm so grateful that you stop by!!! Have a magical day!!!

DT DigiBells: Fairy Merrily the autumn way....

So summer is at it's peak and I'm almost longing for autumn. I just love the rich colors, clear blue sky and fresh air - don't you? I'm however still enjoying summer and we it's sizzeling hot here.... 32 degrees celcius is not that common in Sweden, not even during summer... So we spend most days at the beach or by the pool.... :-D

For my card today I have gone ahead and brought a little bit of autumn into my blog....

Here is a close up on the image - Fairy Merrily colored with my Copics and available in Elisabeth Bells Digital Gallery. On her wings I added Inka Gold (Old Silver) from Hobbyhärvan along with Stickles Stardust.

Some of the flowers... Added some yellow Stickles to them as well...

More flowers...

From the side... Paper from Bo Bunny and swirls from Prima. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Ribbons from Hobbyhärvan.

Have a magical evening! I'm off to read a good book on the patio now that it's a bit cooler outside...
