DT Whiff of Joy Challenge: A sketch!

Hey there my friends, new and old, always great to see you! Today I'd like to show you the card I made for the new challenge over at The Whiff of Joy. This time we have a sketch for you made by a true sketch master, Karina.

This is the card I made. I just adore this sweet little Henry with his marshmallow melting over the fire. The papers I've used are from Bo Bunny, thought they matched the scenery quite well with the stary night, the leaves and the loggs.

Today we have a new challenge ready over at Elisabeth Bell's World and this time we have a sketch by our fabulous former DT-member Janneke.

Inkido Challenge: My sweet boy!

For today I have acctually made a layout!! I know it's been ages since last time.... But I just went with the flow and found a lot of inspiration at my friend and treasured source of inspiration Grethe.

This layout is made for the challenge over at Inkido/Papercrafts of Scandinavia and you are supposed to use a photo in black 'n white.

I've used some papers from Inkido, the brown background, the dotted orange/peach one and the vintage text one. The other papers are from Echo Park and I just love how they all work so well together eventhough the makers are not the same. The flowers are mostly Primas as well as the blingy swirls. I think some of the metal embellishments are from Kort og Godt.

This picture is acctually taken in the spring but who can help where inspiration takes you? It turned out to be an autumn layout and that's the beauty of b/w photos - you can do what you like :-D

The sun is shining here today and this weekend we had 4 C so I'm having hopes for spring now... (Soo ok we hade -10 C this morning but who care when the sun is shining!!! *lol*)

Today we have a new challenge at Christmas Stampin all year long, and this time we'd like to see Clean&Simple. As most of you who read my blog on a regular basis know - clean&simple is way out of my comfort zone.... :-D But I have given it a try and I hope you will too.

GDT Whiff of Joy: A color combo!

Today I'd like to share my latest Whiff of Joy card - this one is featuring the darling image by Gina Elerion - Maya Witch with kitty on broom. This is the card I made:

Here is the card up front - papers from Maja Design. The corner is a die from Cheery Lynn as is the swirl in the opposite corner.

Here is a close up on darling little Rapunzel.... I used distress markers to color her. I don't really like them as most of my brown colors are green.... :-( Hate that as I love using my refils but they are difficult to bring with you to crops and such...

I have a really hard time to make something without a colored image so I tend to make very free interpretations of the cards we lift.... :-D

DT Whiff of Joy Challenge: Anything goes!

We have a new challenge at The Whiff of Joy and this time our theme is "anything goes". This is sooooo easy!!! :-) And I really hope that you will join us!

This is my card featuring little fireman Henry! I made it for my eldest son who turned 6 years old a few weeks ago.... I can't really believe he's already 6....!!

GDT Whiff of Joy:February Bloghop - All for the girls!

This is the card that I made....

Here is a close up on adorable little Maya - the image is called "The key 2 being loved". She's colored with Copics and the frame is a Spellbinder.

I felt like keeping the key theme so I added a charm in the shape of a key ring with keys on. I also added some metal corners to my card.

So more flowers and also a look at the stunning French Lilies border.
