Merry Christmas with Santa Edwin!

Today I'd like to show you a card with one of my new Magnolia images - Edwin with sack! Love him for a christmas card and I loooove making Christmas cards so that means I had to have him - right?!?! *lol*

Here is the image - colored using my Copics.

More embellishments - trying to keep them down a bit so that the gorgeous papers from Echo Park is still visible... :-D I think the background paper with all the houses that Santa is going to visit fits perfectly with this little Santa-Edwin. :-)

A merry Make it Crafty Christmas!

Today I'm back with a card with a new image - at least for me! I have had an eye on the cute and cool image from Make it Crafty for some time now and I finally got it togheter and bought a couple. This is my first card with one of them, it's called Tinkles - isn't she sooooo cute!?!?

DT DigiBells - A fall kind of love!

DT EBW - A diffrent folding with Whimsy Stamps!

Today it's time for a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World and this time we decided to go in a different direction - a different fold that is to say :-D

Here is my inspirational card:

Here is a close up on the image from Whimsy Stamps. I got her from Mikaela's Scrapin - a swedish webstore. I colored her with Copics and the background is made using Gro's fab tutorial at Copic Marker Norway.

Here are some of the embellishments. I used most flowers from Wild Orchid. The snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch and covered in Stickles Diamond.

The sentiment is from Skogstokiga and more flowers...

The challenge at EBW runs for almost a month so you will have loads of time to create. I hope to see you join us!

I'm also adding my card to the search for GDTs at Whimsy Stamps. They are holding an open contest to find GDTs for the January 2012 release and I would soooo love to join them. Whimsy Stamps has quickly grown to be one of my fav stamp companies and it would be such an honor to be able to join them in celebrating the January release. I would try to promote them well in anyway I can- both by making as stunning creations as I can as well as spreading the word about the release and Whimsy Stamps.

GDT Scrapfabriken - En GOD jul!

Today's post will be in Swedish only - feel free to hit the translation button in the sidebar :-D It's a GDT post for Scrapfabriken - a swedish webstore. I have altered a chocolate box for today - a perfect Christmas gift.

Idag gästar jag Scrapfabriken igen med mera altrat. Många kanske är lite "rädda" för att testa alter men det är enkelt och ofta en uppskattad gåva. Det jag gjort till idag är att jag byggt en ask till en liten Marabou-chokladask.

Jag har gjort själva asken genom att först göra en liten låda till själva asken, mätt storlek, bigat och tejpat ihop. Lådan fungerar som en "byrålåda" i själva lådan. Ytterhöljet är ett dubbelvikt cardstock som då alltså är stängt i bakkant.

Här är framsidan på asken. Jag har använt ett papper från Simple Stories som heter 6*12 Page Elements. Motivet jag har använt är från Whimsy Stamps och designat av Elisabeth Bell - Apple Blossom Skates. Denna gång är hon färglagd Copics. Jag har klippt ut henne och monterat på 3D-kuddar framför de söta granarna från Gummiapan som jag har maskat ihop. Jag har hängt röda kulor i granarna i form av röda halvpärlor.

Här är ytterligare en närbild på motivet.

Den söta texten kommer från Gummiapan och jag har stansat ut den med Spellbinders. Några små blad och rosor får vara dekoration. Jag har också använt lite band.

En sista bild för att visa hur pärlorna och 3Dkuddarna som motivet är monterat på ger djup i bilden.

I used this cute Henry Mouse from Wiff of Joy for my card and colored with distress refils. The sentiment is from Inkido - it's was my father's day card so the sentiment says "The world's greatest father". i used Pearl Maker to create the "snowfall" behind him.

I have two posts today.... This is my inspirational card using Lillblommans sketch over at SweScrapbook.

I kept it really clean and simple this time - only the image and a ribbon to decorate.

GDT Scrapfabriken: En ljus idé!

Hello my friends - todays post is in Swedish as it is a post for Scrapfabriken - a swedish webstore. I'm a guest on their DT for a few weeks and for today I made candles. You use tissue paper - stamp and color your image on that and then place it onto a candle gently heating it with you embossing tool until it's completely melted in. The images are from Whimsy Stamps (by Elisabeth Bell and Kenny K).

Idag tänkte jag visa något ganska enkelt men ändå en rolig idé som jag gjort för Scrapfabriken. Att stämpla på ljus!(ja, ni får ursäkta rubriken, det bara blev så...*skratt*)

Jag har stämplat på silkespapper och målat motiven med Copics. När man är klar med färgläggningen så klipper man ut motiven - du behöver inte klippa så när och inte heller så noga, det syns inte sen i alla fall. Lägg motivet på ett vitt blockljus och lägga bakplåtspapper över - gärna en bit som du kan hålla i på "baksidan" så pappret ligger slätt mot ljuset hela tiden. Värm sedan på motivet med en embossingfön försiktigt. Du kan se genom bakplåtspappret när motivet smält fast för det kontrasterna blir starkare.

Till det här ljuset har jag använt Apple Blossom Skates från Elisabeth Bell/Whimsy Stamps.

Till nästa ljus har jag använt Xmas Shopping från Kenny K/Whimsy Stamps.

Lite inspiration på en enkel gåva som blir mycket uppskattad. Vill du kan man slå in ljusen i lite cellofan och binda ihop med ett vackert band eller en spets. Lycka till!

Gorgeous Elisabeth Bell with Copics!

Today I'd like to show you another card I made using an oldie by Elisabeth Bell. She's called Village Girl and is currently not for sale anywhere... But who knows - mabye she'll soon be back? Let's hope so!!!

Here is the card. The sketch is from Copic Marker Norge - in addition to the sketch you should make it a Christmas card and add a tag.

The sentiment is from Inkido, if I'm not mistaken, and is available at Hobbyhärvan. Punched out snowflakes (Martha Stewart) with Stickles Stardust on. Papers from my stash - Maja Design and Papirdesign.
