Sketch Challenge at Scrapbooking4U!

Today I have a card for you that I made using the sketch by Milo Lilja at Scrapbooking 4U (a swedish webstore). I've used an image from hänglar and stÄnglar and colored using Copics. This is how my card turned out!

Close up on the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The die cut swirl is from Magnolia and I've used glimmer mist to get them into the right shade.

The gorgeous papers are once again from Jillibean Soup.

Stardust-Tilda blowing magic!

A while ago my good blog-friend, Maritha, celebrated her birthday or rather she did not want to celebrate the fact that she was growing older! :-D So I just had to make her this card where Tilda is blowing her magic fairy dust and alters ages. :-) This is how it turned out...

I have used the adorable papers from Bo Bunny but it acctually feels a bit silly with the tea pot on the papers as my friend drinks neither coffee nor tea (just like me!). However I could not resist them!!

My card fits the challenge at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar and stÄnglar - Summer Colors.

DT EBW: Red, White and Blue!

For my project I have used two images from Belles'nWhistles and they are cute as buttons both of them. My project is an altered napkin holder. Perfect and adorable to place on you table...

WoJ Challenge: Kathrin's sketch!

I've made a card for a friend of my mum's who's just found out she (once again) has gotten cancer and I used sweet little Melinda Blowing Kisses for the card. For the design I followed Kathrin's sketch over at Whiff of Joy. Totally gorgeous sketch - I love using loads of papers on my cards.



The papers I used are from Magnolia and Inkido. Here is a close up on sweet Melinda.

DT DigiBells - Giddy up!!

I was challenged some weeks ago by another sweet friend of mine, Åsa, to make a card in orange and turqouise... And also to add a doily, tags and flowers- Totally out of my comfort zone as for the colors but... A challenge is a challenge :-D So this is what I did:

Home Sweet Home using Vilda Stamps!!

Today I have a card to show that I made for a friend who's just moved. Vilda Stamps cute little mushroom house is perfect for such a card - don't you think??



I colored this image using both Distress Markers and refils. Here is a close up! I just adore this little house!



For my embellishment I have used a die cut tree, the die is from Memory Box. Some sweet flowers and the alphabet is from Panduro. I punched out some turqouise butterflies to sit on the tree as they also match the tiny bits of blue on the gorgeous paper from Bo Bunnys "Home sweet home" collection.

A lifted LO!

Today I'm showing a layout that I made a while ago for SweScrapbook - lifting Karin/qurin. She had made such a fun layout with a bunch of pictures in it. So that's what I tried to do...



For the love of me - I can't remember who's made these papers but don't the fit the palyful pics of my boys at the park?

Today I have a card to show you featuring a cutie from KennyK. This card was made for a co worker who's cousin is turning 30 and I've used Movie Star from the Glam Gang Collection. She's colored usin distress reinkers.

My co worker usually likes the clean and simple style but I just couldn't resist to add som flowers to the card... :-D Papers are from Maja Design and GCD.

DT DigiBells - Black 'n White!

Such a day!! It's Sweden National Day today but we don't really celebrate much... It became a national holiday about 5 yrs ago so that we would be able to celebrate... But it's just not "the swedish way"... *lol*

Today I have a card for you that I made using the cutest little image from Elisabeth's Digital Gallery. I was acctually challenged by a friend, Margareta, to make a card in black 'n white. How do you think I did?



You'd better stop by Margareta as well... She's a very talented lady - not to mention that she makes her own envelopes for all her cards!! Yes, stunning ones from designpaper to match the cards!!

DT Scrappekammeret: Summer!

Ohh, what a day!! I just came home from the boy's daycare - they had their "summer party" today celebrating summer and the fact that the oldest children are off to school in the fall. My boys are too young yet to go but next year my eldest will begin school... Where does time fly!?!?

I have a new card to show you today - for Scrappekammeret. However I have some sad news... This is the last challenge for Scrappekammeret... It was a very hard descission for us DT-girls to make but none the less it feels quite good now. I have been a "kammerpike" for a year and a half and it was my first international designteam. Anyways... We decided to go out with a blast and have an easy peasy challenge for you - SUMMER!! Do what you want on the theme summer... Hope to see you join us as we have TWO STUNNING PRIZES this time!

I have used the adorable image designed by non-other than Elisabeth Bell for Whimsey Stamps. In Sweden you can get Whimsey Stamps at Mikaelas Scrapin. I praticed my Copics coloring her.



The papers are from Prima. Embellished with flowers, stickles, a die cut frame and a charm.

WoJ Challenge - Add metal!

Hoping you all have had a great weekend! Mine has been all rain but at least I got some crafting done ;-)

Today I have a card to show in pink and green that I made for a christening. It fits the challenge at Whiff of Joy (add metal) and I've used the sketch from Papertake Weekly. This is my card:

A close up on the embellishment... Swirls are dies from Magnolia as well as the design paper and flowers from Wild Orchid. A cute metal butterfly sits on one...

TOMIC Sketch Challenge!

Today I have a card to show that I made for the sketch+summer scene challenge over at TOMIC. It's acctually the first time I've ever entered their challenge... :-0 There is a first time for everything :-D and I looooved the sketch! It was perfect for the birthday card I wanted to make for a lady I used to work with but still consider a mentor in my professional life! My card also fits the challenge at Tilda's Town - to use Tilda/Edwin with an accessory stamp. Anyways here is the card I made:

I have used this sweet Tilda from a collection last year... I just looove her!! I colored her using Copics this time. Feels like I getting the hang of it after a year's pratice :-D Finally!! Although I must admit I haven't been at it sooo much as I usually color using my distress reink's. It shows a bit bad in the pic but I have used dry chalk to create clouds behind Tilda and make a summery sky.

Just a shot to give you a 3D hint - I've cut out Tilda and added her to the card on 3D cushions to make it more effectful.
