This is my second posting today... Please scroll down for my vintage card for Hobbyhärvan!
I just had to ink up this cutie Tilda from the latest Magnolia Collection.
She's called "Tilda in the garden" and is actually the only one I bought, so far!! Yikes! But don't dispare... I havn't totally tossed out my Magnolias but I'm saving my money to shop away in Karlstad! There will be a huge craft's fair there in March and at the same time a possibility to craft with scrappers from all over Sweden. It's gonna be sooo much fun!! But here I am chattering away again... Here's my card!!
I used the sketch from Sketcy Colors, made by the talanted Marianne... I flipped and switched it abit but I hope you can tell I used the sketch... ;-)
The flowers are from Wild Orchids (at leaste the largest one...) and my card also fits their challenge - to use a sentiment on my project. The sentiment is from Rox Stamps, a quite new Swedish company, and I love the meaning of it. It translates to something like " A bumble bee can't fly because the wings are to small, but the bumble bee doesn't care - he flies anyways... How is that escape made? The bumble bee only mumbles; You can do anything you want". In Swedish it rimes but that was tooo hard to translate..
I've actually used this sentiment for a previous challenge at Magnolia Down Under where the theme this week is to "Reuse, Reduce and Recykle..." So I thought since I'm reusing this sentiment... Noooo, I'm kidding!!! *lol* Yes, I know I have a crappy sense of humour but I'm sleep deprived... That usually gives this result... :-) The reuse is the flowery tag with lace on popping up behind the sentiment. It's a tag from a cushion I bought at an interior decoration store this summer... Isn't it gorgous!?! I just knew I had to hold on to it and now it came in useful.
The papers are from Prima and the butterflies are a stamp from Kortmakaren.
Wishing you all the best for the weekend!! Thank's for all sweet comments and thank's for stopping by!!
