Today I've made a box for the challenge at Magnolia Down Under.... They had a really great challenge this week called "A gift for you". Umm, this week... No acctually it's open for more than that so there is no time to waste... If you don't feel like participating, at least check out the DT work, as always a fantabulous collection of inspiration!
This is my contribution for this challenge and tired as I am of Christmas colors and snow I had to make it "spring-yish"... :-D
I've used an older Tilda image and colored her as a bumble bee.
i think this Tilda fits perfectly with the sentiment from Rox Stamps. It's a poem and it swedish it rimes, but it's kind a hard to translate that as well so here is just a word by word translation:
The bumble bee can't fly
because it's wings are to small
But the bumble bee doesn't care
it flies anyway
Tell me little bumble bee
how that escape is made
The bumble bee only mumbles
you can do anything you want...
This will be a gift for a friend who needs some encouragement...
The flowers are from Wild Orchids...
The delicious inside... :-D
Hope you are all enjoying these days before the new year... We are having my husband's brother and his family over for the weekend. They just had a baby girl - Tove - and it will be a joy to have them here. My boys are so excited to see their cousin again. I think that the sun is acctually coming out today - what a sight for sore eyes... ;-D It has been snowing here for days and days and my husband has had so shovel snow from the roof... I just have to tell you as well that he love that, and I do to, so we "struggle" to be the one to go out and shovel... (However I willingly let him do the roof...)
Have a super new year's celebration and a fantastic new crafting year!!
